Lionel is a sustainability and climate risk policy analyst, and green business analyst with knowledge in climate risk stress testing and scenario analysis (banking), sustainability reporting (banking), international climate-related financial regulation and policy, and a track record of experience engaging directly and collaborating with leading European and global banks, financial supervisors (e.g: ECB) and regulators (e.g: EBA, HKMA), climate scenarios modellers (e.g NGFS), financial trade associations (e.g: ISDA, ICMA), and leading consulting firms (e.g: Oliver Wyman, EY) on various projects.

He previously worked for AFME (Association for Financial Markets in Europe), a European and global financial trade association for large banks operating in the UK and EU, as a climate risk management policy analyst. He equally contributed to policy publication and business insights for several British and American sustainability media outlets and non-governmental organisations.

He analysed and authored various topics, managed extensive research, and developed industry-wide position papers, consultation responses, and high-level reports on these subjects; also worked in other key areas (inc. ESG & climate bond data analysis and green investment consulting) with various high-profile organisations and individuals in the UK, EU and globally.
